Hi Darrell,

Absolutely, the new FileMaker licenses will be available before September 3rd. As soon as beta starts next week, we’ll send out all the information, including the FileMaker Pro license.

Kind regards,

Hi Darrell,

Kind regards,
I'm  getting nervous.    No news about the beta testing or receiving the filemaker license.  I would rather not wait to the last minute to install new license as we all know next Thursday FrameReady license will expire.  If I need to get my license from Filemaker please let me know.  I don't wamt to go into the weekend wondering if this is going to happen.  Hope to hear from you soon

We are getting Filmaker License and Beta testing is happeniong this week.  Correct?

RE: FileMaker license - Pedro - 08-26-2026

Hi Darrell,

We’re on it, no need to worry.

Claris informed us today that ReadysoftHelp has been fully approved. They are now preparing the final paperwork, and everything remains on track for them to send us the FileMaker licenses before September 3rd.

Tomorrow we are releasing ReadysoftHelp. You can see the full announcement here:
https://readysoft.help/community/showthread.php?tid=813

As soon as Claris delivers the licenses, we will immediately distribute them to all subscribers. Our expectation is still this week, but at the very latest before the current FrameReady license expires on September 3rd.

Please note that this is a single FileMaker Pro license intended for ReadysoftHelp. If you need additional licenses, you can purchase them directly from Claris or add extra users to your ReadysoftHelp subscription.

Once all subscribers have received their license, we will begin the beta testing phase. We’re rolling this out in stages so we can focus on each app as it becomes available, starting with ReadysoftHelp tomorrow.

You won’t be left without working software, and you won’t need to buy anything separately unless you want extra seats.

Kind regards,

Ok That is what I was needing to know.  We have a server and 8 client computers so we will need our license from Claris

Thank you for your help

RE: FileMaker license - Pedro - 08-26-2026

Hi Darrell,
If you need help deciding which is the best licensing model for your setup we are happy to check. Claris has a few different options that might suit your requirements, it depends on how many unique users you have. The package with a server + 5 users might be enough.

Kind regards

RE: FileMaker license - kentpictureframing - 08-28-2026

There was a message earlier from ReadySoft saying that the Filemaker licence would work with Frameready until the user was ready to transition over to ReadySoft. Is this still the case?

RE: FileMaker license - Pedro - 08-28-2026

Hi Kent,

Yes, that’s still the case.

The FileMaker Pro license included with ReadysoftHelp is a standard, fully functional FileMaker Pro license, so you can continue opening any FileMaker file, including FrameReady, exactly as before.
This applies perfectly to single‑user, local installations.

If you only need one workstation running FrameReady while you transition to Framesoft, you’re completely covered.

For setups with multiple users or a FileMaker Server, you would need additional licenses, either directly from Claris or by adding extra seats to your ReadysoftHelp subscription.

Let us know what your environment looks like and we’ll help you choose the simplest path forward.

Kind regards,

Kind regards,

We have two stations at my shop. So I'll be needing two seats. Hoping this can be done before Sept 3.

Hi Kent,
No problem at all, we'll get your subscription updated.

Kind regards,
