No worries, I can help you get everything set up.
1. About your three computers
If you want all three computers to stay working after September 3rd, you simply need three subscriptions/licenses.
If you’d like, I can update your account to 3 subscriptions right away so everything is covered.
Just let me know.
2. About FrameReady disappearing
FrameReady will not suddenly stop on September 1st.
The important date is
September 3rd, when the FileMaker license expires.
Once you update to the new ReadysoftHelp FileMaker license, your FrameReady will continue working normally.
3. Backing up your FrameReady (version 14.2)
You have two ways to back up your data:
Option A — If you use FileMaker Server (recommended)
Your server already creates automatic backups.
On
Mac, they are stored here:
Code:
/Library/FileMaker Server/Data/Backups/
Inside that folder, each backup contains all your FrameReady data.
If you need help finding it, I can guide you.
Option B — Manual backup from FrameReady
You can export your data directly:
FrameReady top menu → Perform → Export Data
This creates a safe copy of your information that you can store anywhere.
4. Licenses
We will be posting instructions shortly on how to replace the expiring FileMaker license with the new ReadysoftHelp license.
In the meantime, just confirm if you want me to update your subscription to three licenses, to cover the three computers.
